My Top 10 Favorite Playstation 2 Games

Image
So the Playstation 2 was my lifeblood as a kid.  I would come home from school and spend the entire afternoon and evening on that thing until I went to bed that night.  It was the best system that I have ever owned, and it provided me with some amazing memories.  That's why I wanted to make a list of my top 10 favorite Playstation 2 games and share it with you all.  However, keep in mind that I wasn't able to play every game on the Playstation 2 and that this list is just my personal opinion, it is not the end all be all of gaming.  So with that in mind, let's count 'em down! 10. WWE Smackdown VS RAW 2007 It is pretty much for this game and this game alone that I put that disclaimer in the beginning of the article, as pretty much no one else has this game on any Top 10 Playstation games list, especially because it was a game that was available across platforms.  However, I gave this game an honorary place on my list simply because of the sheer amo...

Top 10 Crash Bandicoot Titles

Image
So now that I have posted another double article (Pokemon Pokedex Entries) I felt less bad about taking another swing into the Crash Bandicoot Universe.  I'd actually like to start doing more Top 10s, as I thoroughly enjoyed writing the Christmas one.  In this list I will only be featuring titles that were in the main series, so no mobile games or handheld games  will be included in this list. So without further ado, here are my opinions on the Top 10 Crash Bandicoot Titles from worst to best. 10. Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex This atrocity of a Crash Bandicoot game was Crash's debut onto the Playstation 2, and many people had incredibly high hopes for the Australian marsupial's leap onto the platform.  However, this game was a major let down to fans all across the world, as this game took away from the original's success in so many ways.  The first of which, and the most obvious area, is the graphics.  The original Crash Bandicoot all the way u...

The 2015 Video Game Awards Results

So I didn't watch this year's video game awards for 2 reasons. 1, after last year's god awful production/farce, I sincerely thought that it had died and that we would never be seeing it again and 2, because Geoff Keighley.  First let's get the results out of the way so that we can move on to a deeper topic concerning the game awards in and of themselves: BEST FAMILY GAME Super Mario Maker  (Nintendo EAD Group No. 4/Nintendo) BEST FIGHTING GAME Mortal Kombat X  (NetherRealm Studios/Warner Bros. Top 10 Worst Christmas Themed Video Games

Image
Happy holidays everyone! In honor of the Christmas spirit, I've decided to do my first top 10 article for this blog! This top 10 is a very unique one to be sure, because I'm narrowing down the Worst X Christmas themed video games! 10. Christmas Nights Christmas Nights for the Sega Saturn was a very unique title developed by Sonic Team (wow, really?). Looking at a screenshot at this game, I could have sworn that the main character was a taller Amy Rose (probably Sonic Team adjusting what assets they already had just enough to make them unique for this title.). To be honest, I'm not even sure how to play this game, because literally all you are doing is flying around in a weird 2.5D environment.  However, this game was a little bit advanced for its time as it took advantage of the Saturn's internal clock. Depending on the time of year, environmental elements of the game change.  For example, during December, Nightopians appear in elf costumes and the background mus...
