My Predictions for Wrestlemania 33

Image
It's that time of year again ladies and gentlemen.  Wrestlemania is this week and everyone is excited and fired up! Unless you're a hardcore fan in which case you are dreading why the booking is why the way it is and are complaining about how Goldberg and Lesnar are contending for the WWE Universal title...in fact you're probably still complaining about the Universal title's name but- that's neither here nor there! The bottom line is that I'm excited, you're excited, and the WWE is excited.  So to get into the Wrestlemania spirit, I thought I'd share my two cents as to what is going to happen at the showcase of the immortals. I am also going by order of the matches as listed on bleacherreport.com, so if my order is off, blame them. Pre-Show 2017 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal This one is definitely a tough one to call, as it has a lot of no-names in it such as Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, and Jinder Mahal, but it also features the reign...

WWE TLC 2016 Review

So here are my thoughts for WWE TLC 2016: The Wyatt Family (Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt w/ Luke Harper) VS Heath Slater & Rhyno (c) for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships This match was pretty short and all-in-all very one-sided.  It went pretty much how I expected it to go.  Harper gave assistance and interference here and there, and as The Wyatt Family wore down the tag team champions, they were able to catch Rhyno off guard by distracting him with Bray Wyatt's Spider Stance, allowing Orton to connect with the RKO. Winners: The Wyatt Family Match Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars Nikki Bella VS Carmella - No Disqualification Match This match was pretty physical, and one of the more hard Women's matches i've seen in a while.  However, it was still pretty short and went directly the way everyone thought it would.  John Cena has an influence on the WWE even when he's not here... Also Carmella drops the fact that Natalya attacked Nikki Bel...

WWE Survivor Series 2016 Review

Now I know I don't usually post wrestling-related content on this page, or post much of anything here anymore, but I want to get back into the swing of things. Survivor Series 2016 So Survivor Series happened last night, and I've gotta say, it was a hell of a weekend in wrestling. Not only because of the Survivor Series, but the excellent show that NXT produced at Takeover the night prior, which Survivor Series had to follow.  From what happened at Takeover, Survivor Series had to do a hell of a lot to follow that. Women's 5-on-5 Traditional Elimination Tag-Team Match I didn't get to see too much of this match, due to my being a college student and not being able to afford the WWE Network and the link I was watching the show on being bad, but with what I did see, I was very impressed with.  An interesting dynamic was implemented as the team captain of Smackdown Live, Nikki Bella, was attacked right before the match and as the rest of her teammates were alread...
